Although you can wash and dry your hand painted clothing as normal, it is recommended to air dry the clothing after a wash to preserve the color of the paint over the years. This also varies on the type fabric being painted on. Ex: hand painted denim jeans are less likely to fade from washing and drying compared to a cotton t-shirt. Acrylic fabric paint does not crack or bleed once dry and can withstand regular washing and drying. I personally air dry my hand painted clothing after a wash. This all depends on the order request, details and timeline. I always ask what my clients/customers deadlines are so I can efficiently communicate the time I have to dedicate to the project timeline and I always schedule meetings or quick check-ins during the creative process for updates. Ex: A flyer may take 1-4 hours including or excluding edits and revisions. A medium-large painting or detailed digital illustration may take 6-15+hrs depending on the order request. These hours may be spread apart due to my personal availability as well.
