Workshop Description:ReImagined Nature is a community-based art initiative that invites Newark residents of all ages to collaboratively build immersive 3D cardboard landscapes using recyclable materials and paint.
Through a series of mobile workshops, participants will design and construct nature-inspired elements—such as oversized leaves, grass, flowers, birds, and more. These creations will culminate in a public, interactive art installation hosted in Newark Parks, transforming familiar spaces into imaginative, eco-friendly environments.
Workshop Breakdown:
Use drawing, collage, and group discussion to sketch ideas, referencing real plants and animals found in local parks.
